People can find competition in almost anything, including art. The goofier the sport, the more it makes some people nostalgic for long-gone gym classes.
Below, we present just ten of the many odd competitions that have popped up around the world. Some are deeply engrained in their respective societies, and some have gone from tongue-in-cheek to serious stuff. They all look fun and slightly dangerous, which is really what sports are about.

The Most Dangerous Roads in the World
Bolivia’s “Road of Death”North Yungas Road is hands-down the most dangerous in the world for motorists. If other roads could be considered impassable, this one clearly endangers your life. It runs in the Bolivian Andes, 70 km from La Paz to Coroico, and plunges down almost 3,600 meters in an orgy of extremely narrow hairpin curves and 800-meter abyss near-misses.
A fatal accident happens there every couple of weeks, 100-200 people perish there every year. In 1995 the Inter-American Development Bank named the La Paz-to-Coroico route “the world’s most dangerous road.”
Among the route there are many visible reminders of accidents, wrecked carcasses of lorries and trucks lie scattered around at the bottom…
Tough Guy Challenge 2010
Recently hosted the 24 th annual Tough Guy Challenge, namely, on Sunday January 31, near Wolverhampton which is in England. Despite the fact that these events are called “the most dangerous and very difficult to bearable, the race took more than 5000 men and women, they all signed up for that – anything to happen to them in these competitions is their fault. More than 600 participants did not finish the race to the end, the winner was Paul Jones from Oswestry, England, completing the distance in one hour and 18 minutes.
